Job Title: Account Manager
Expertise: Speaking the language of math and figuring out the necessary formulas for her data-driven strategies.

Question: You are a new addition to the crayon box. What colour would you be and why?

Scarlett: Well if I’m a new addition does that mean a whole new color? If so, I’d want to be all the colors that appear after the sun has set. As you sharpen the crayon, the pastel color changes.

Question: If you were a superhero (and we know you are), what would your superpower be and what can we call you?

Scarlett: Speak every language… not just human language but across species of animal, and sign. IMAGINE being able to talk to your pet! Or just know what people are talking about when you go to another country.

Question: Your favourite Inspirational Quote and Why

Scarlett: ‘Tomorrow is another Day’ from Gone with the Wind. My mum would always say that to me if I was upset when I was a kid, and it’s so true… tomorrow is a fresh start, be whoever you want to be.

Question: Name one thing about your job that inspires you to keep working at AIM and gets you out of bed in the morning?

Scarlett:  The people – colleagues and clients can’t beat it, I work with some great individuals. I also do polar dips which help me get out of bed, there’s no way I’m getting back into bed after that.

Question: How did you become interested in Marketing?

Scarlett: I wanted a career change from the fashion industry, and I studied marketing as part of my degree. I saw a role I thought I’d be really good at, so I took the leap. Thankfully it’s working out!

Question: Tell us about your greatest achievement in your career, so far.

Scarlett: I think taking that leap from one industry to another was one of the scariest things I’ve done in my career, but I’m so glad I did and I learned a lot along the way.

Question: What is your biggest professional challenge?

Scarlett: Math – I really used to hate anything to do with numbers at school, and now I’m doing a job that’s heavily data-driven. Which I never believed I could do, let alone enjoy! I’ve learned to love numbers through excel. I actually quite enjoy figuring out formulas, I suppose that links back to my superpower and being able to speak other languages. Math was like a language I never understood.

Question: What is the one piece of advice you can offer a budding Affiliate Marketer?

Scarlett: Be flexible, don’t be afraid to ask, and work to build solid relationships with clients and affiliates – it makes the job easier.
