Job Title: Associate Account Manager
Expertise: Strategic problem-solving ability (or solution finding as I like to say), as well as the ability to build strong relationships.

Question: You are a new addition to the crayon box. What colour would you be and why?

Trentt: I’d be orange because I like to brighten up everyone’s day. Other colours don’t stand out as much and often blend in. That’s not me. I like to be a little different from everyone else.

Question: If you were a superhero (and we know you are), what would your superpower be and what can we call you?

Trentt: My superpower would be the ability to speak every language in the world fluently. I think it’s one of the most underrated superpowers. Imagine going anywhere in the world and being able to speak the native tongue. How cool would that be!? You could call me “Captain Linguistics” and I’d swoop in and translate any conversation.

I also wouldn’t mind having the ability to fly as a superpower. I mean…come on. Who wouldn’t?

Question: Your favourite Inspirational Quote and Why

Trentt: My favourtie inspirational quote is from my dad who used to tell me when I was growing up playing baseball, “You’re only as good as your next game.”

I’ve adopted this as my life’s motto. It’s a good reminder not to dwell on the past – good or bad – but to keep moving forward and always try to better yourself.

Question: Name one thing about your job that inspires you to keep working at AIM and gets you out of bed in the morning?

Trentt: I love helping businesses grow and reach their goals. At AIM, we work with a lot of great brands and it’s very rewarding when you see their affiliate program achieve success.

Question: How did you become interested in Marketing?

Trentt: I’ve always been interested in business. How do companies operate? What do the successful ones do differently? How do you go from starting out as a one-person operation in your garage to become a multi-million dollar corporation?

As I started to learn more about how businesses work, I started to become passionate about marketing and how it can help businesses grow and scale. Also, marketing always seemed more creative and fun!

Question: Tell us about your greatest achievement in your career, so far.

Trentt: The greatest achievement so far in my career was starting a business. It’s one of the scariest, challenging, fun, and rewarding things you can do. It has allowed me to expand out of my comfort zone and develop new skills along the way, a lot of which have carried over to AIM.

Question: What is your biggest professional challenge?

Trentt: I would say my biggest professional challenge is to not get too complacent. Sometimes our biggest roadblock is ourselves. I think we can all get a little too comfortable in our day-to-day and not challenge ourselves to learn new things. It may not always be easy, but I think it’s important to keep pushing yourself.

Question: What is the one piece of advice you can offer a budding Affiliate Marketer?

Trentt: Never stop learning! Affiliate marketing is ever-evolving so it’s important to stay up to date on the latest news, changes in landscape, and industry trends.
