Tools for Affiliate Success

Resources Every Affiliate Should Know

A seasoned marketing professional understands the importance of having good resources on hand to fulfill your task load. Marketing is an ever-changing, on-your-toes position that requires organization, creativity, and a few tricks up your sleeve.

As an affiliate marketer, things can get even more stressful with a variety of brands to promote and readers looking for the next must-have recommendation on the internet. And, while most affiliate marketers don’t have the big budgets or a large team like a big brand would to help get their content created, there are still a ton of resources out there to keep you organized, help with your creativity, and keep your readers happy.

Here, at AIM, we love working with our affiliate partners across all our brands and we work hard to make sure they have all the tools they need to make their partnerships successful and profitable. In this article let’s review some top resources to keep your content and your conversions flowing.

Canva

Get high-quality content without having a degree in graphic design. Canva is a free (paid option available with more features) online design and publishing tool to help you design anything and publish anywhere. With simple drag-and-drop design features and a vast library of stock photographs, graphic elements, and fonts, you can create blog images, social graphics, infographics, and more quickly and easily.

Pexels and Unsplash

If you’re only in need of stock images, but don’t have the budget for big names like iStock or Shutterstock, Pexels and Unsplash can help. Both sites offer millions of usable imagery for you to download and use within your content for free — no hidden fees or fine print, simply download what you like and use for whatever you want.

Tasty Links

While not a free resource, Tasty Links can be an affiliate’s best friend and worth every penny. Plus, you can always think of it as an expense that gets reimbursed with all the commission you make from its help. Either way, this is a tool you’ll want to check out. In a nutshell, Tasty Links is a tool for publishers to use to “automagically” create links for specific keywords across their blog with just a few clicks — Optimize your content and maximize your revenue with minimal effort.

Hootsuite

If you haven’t automated your social media efforts, it’s time to consider it. Not only will this help you plan and work ahead of schedule, but it will also help you see your marketing efforts as a whole for better insight as to who and what you’re promoting. With Hootsuite, you can easily manage all your social media and get results with deep expertise and understanding of what creators need. Free and paid subscriptions are available.

The above-mentioned options have either been used by our own team or are a favorite amongst some of the top partners we work with, we simply are here to assist and help our industry grow. So, whether you’ve heard of these or are on the lookout for new helpful tools, it’s time to examine your efforts and find what helps you work smarter and not harder. And, as a savvy affiliate partner who is looking for success, don’t forget to check out our current client roster to see if there’s a program that would be perfect for you and your audience.

Happy Promoting!
